INSTALL YOUR ORBIT PANEL

INSTALL ORBIT PANEL IN THE WALL:
- Connect included USB cable to rear USB port
- Connect Ethernet cable with POE to rear RJ45 port.
- Remove Orbit Panel front cover. Hold the Orbit Panel cover firmly by the sides, near the bottom. Gently lift the cover at an angle to release the bottom clips. Once the bottom clips are free, lift the cover upwards to fully release it from the top clips.
- Install Orbit Panel into an existing wall box or mud ring with included #6 screws.
Minimum Depth Requirements: Orbit Panel Mini 2.6" Orbit Panel Mini - Space Saver 1.6" Orbit Panel 15 2.75" Orbit Panel 15 - Space Saver 1.6" - Replace the Orbit Panel Front Cover. Align the top of the cover with the clip on the panel. Press down gently to secure the bottom clips into place.
SET UP ORBIT PANEL:
- While booting up, the Elgato logo will be visible on they keys. This usually lasts approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute, but my take longer on first boot.
- Once the Orbit Panel is booted up you will see the Companion Satellite Logo, connection status, Local IP address (this is the IP of your Orbit Panel), and Remote IP address (Defaults to 127.0.0.1, needs to be set to your Companion Instance IP)
- Use a web browser to navigate to the web interface for your Orbit Panel.
Go to the IP of your Orbit Panel, followed by port 9999. example: 10.1.10.239:9999 - Set the IP address that is uses to connect (defaults to 127.0.0.1) to the IP address your Companion instance.
- Click Save.
OPTIONAL - SET ORBIT PANEL SETTINGS IN COMPANION:
- Use a web browser to navigate to the web interface for your Copanion instance.
- Navigate to the Surfaces tab.
- Check the IP addresses to find your Orbit Panel
- You can add a name to your Orbit Panel to make it easier to identify.
- Click "settings"
- Here you can change settings for this specific panel.
(For Orbit Panel Minis you will probably want to set the button rotation to 90°)
Your Orbit Panel is now ready to go. All thats left for you to do is set up all your connections and buttons in Companion and customize your controls to your hearts content.
